Is your work guaranteed ?
Yes, all repairs are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of repair.
What happens if you can’t repair my glasses / sunglasses ?
In the unlikely event that we are unable to repair your damaged frames, we will immediately refund your purchase and contact you to discuss whether you would like the sunglasses returning or if you’d prefer us to recycle them for you.
Can you replace lenses ?
Yes ! In some instances, we are able to supply original RayBan lenses and have some stock available which can be purchased online from this website. Our price includes fitting Rayban Lenses and sending your sunglasses back to you. You can find our current available stock if you click here. We cannot offer supply only, however all fitting included a frame service involving a clean and re-alignment.
In many cases we are able to offer a generic (own brand) equivalent pair of lenses which conform to all UK required standards and offer a cost effective alternative to being forced to buy a new pair of sunglasses. Please contact us to enquire.
Do you repair glasses as well ?
Yes, we do repair glasses. In fact a lot of our work is for UK opticians who send their broken glasses frames to us on behalf of their customers. In fact, we’ve been asked if we can repair glasses so often we now offer it as an internet repair (just like our Rayban repairs). You can Click Here to buy a glasses repair.
Do you only repair Raybans or can you fix other makes of sunglasses?
No, we repair all types of eyewear, including rimless, designer and prescription glasses.
Is your cost fixed at £19.99 ?
Yes, our standard repair price is £19.99 & this is fixed, with no hidden extras. We do offer full refurbishments, genuine parts or lenses at an extra charge.
In the event of new (genuine) parts / lenses / refurbishment, we would contact you prior to proceeding with any work in order to discuss the costs. If you choose not to proceed, we will refund / return your item at no charge to you.
How do you define a “genuine part” ?
We class genuine parts as new sides (arms), lenses, arm tips or nose pads which are sourced directly from the manufacturer of your frames. Any nearest matching parts would usually be included in a standard repair cost with nothing extra to pay, however genuine parts usually incur an extra charge.
If I’ve lost my side (arm), can you replace it?
Often the most cost effective way to repair glasses is to fit a nearest matching part, however we endeavour where possible to offer genuine parts at an extra charge if a generic alternative is not acceptable.
Where are you based ?
We are a UK based company and all of our work is carried out at our workshops in Staffordshire & our head office is just over the border in Cheshire.
What happens if my item goes missing / gets damaged in transit ?
When returning items to our customers, we always recommend the Royal Mail Special Delivery option as this provides tracking information and insurance up to £500 (original proof of purchase may be required by Royal Mail in the event of a claim for loss / damage).
Our free post option (Royal Mail Recorded Delivery) carries no insurance or tracking information & we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage whilst in transit.
Do I need to sign for my returned parcel ?
Both methods of postage will require a signature from the receiver.
